The song was recorded in the fall of 2009 in the band’s studio in Espevik, Sweden and later mixed and mastered in Hammer Studios in Lerum, Sweden.
Major Investment is a song with roots in rock and country and blues scene of the 70s. It also points to some social awareness in the lyrics.
-The song really reflects the way we look at current events and the direction we’re heading in everyday society, says Johan Kalin, the band’s lead singer.
The band took their time fine-tuning the song in the studio in order to get the right feel and sound.
- It’s worth all the time and effort, says Ivan Ivarsson, the band drummer and producer. We all feel confident that our fans will recognize the true spirit of Heiko in this single.
The upcoming release by Heiko is ready and cued in line.
The date for the upcoming release Major Investment from Heiko is set for May 25. It will be followed by a release event on June 6.
Months of hard work has delayed the release but Heiko is now ready to let go of their latest gem Major Investment. The band is very proud and happy with the new song and are eager to get it out in to the public and hear what you all think of it.

The winter has been hard but now Ovanbeck is starting to see the winter sun. Here are some of our plans.
Happy new year, better late then never. We have all been very busy here at the Ovanbeck camp. But now we are back on track. Sweden is covered in snow and this winter has been the hardest since King Creole was on the charts. But we like it!
What’s going on The Ovanbeck studio is on the move and will soon be unboxed. That will surly bring some great music our way.
Pocketful is doing hard work on their upcoming EP. Hopefully will we give you a treat from that one in the near future.
With the new Ovanbeck studio ready Heiko can go back into the studio and do the final mix of their upcoming single.
